Find-a-Lot: Service Design

Overview

Find-a-LoT is a service that connects enthusiasts of the circular economy to libraries of things (LoT) all around Australia, such as the Gold Coast Tool Library.

Initially, it focuses on travel gear, to boost the domestic travel industry post-covid. Later on, libraries can extend their inventories to tools, toys, clothes and more, because everyone is welcome!

How it works

When you become a member of Find-a-LoT, you gain access a network of libraries across the country.

Each library offers curated gear and access to local events hosted by the communities, who will have an opportunity to circulate unused items, to increase social inclusion and local tourism. In exchange, each local LoT receives a commission based on the membership fees, rentals and events.
